A missing five-year-old boy who died in hospital was the third person to be pulled from the River Thames in the last three days.
An urgent police hunt was launched to find Daniel Alaby after he went missing from his home in Thamesmead, south-east London, yesterday.
He had last been seen with his brother at around 5.30pm but was later pulled from the river at 6.23pm, the Metropolitan Police said.
Police administered CPR before the paramedics from the London Ambulance Service arrived. The child was taken to hospital in a critical condition and later pronounced dead, the force added.
